Brandon Lamb, general partner, focuses on business modeling, accounting, legal issues and tax compliance. Prior to joining AustiNext, Brandon was a senior manager in the mergers and acquisitions practice at Ernst & Young, LLP, providing financial and operational due diligence assistance to private equity investors and strategic buyers. Throughout his 13 year public accounting and consulting career, Brandon oversaw engagements in a wide variety of industries, including upstream and downstream oil and gas, oilfield services, wholesale distribution, private equity and telecommunications. Brandon received a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Houston Law Center, as well as Masters and Bachelors degrees in Accounting and Finance from Trinity University in San Antonio. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas and a member of the State Bar of Texas.
Rob Vogt, general partner, focuses on operations, branding & marketing and human resources. Prior to AustiNext, Rob was with Vogt Enterprises (dba Vogt Auction Galleries) for 6 years focusing on operations and marketing. Prior to that, Rob was a Senior Producer at Yahoo! Inc. where he managed strategic development and deployment of Yahoo's market-leading community services Personals, People Search, Member Directory and Experts. Earlier in his career, Rob was a television anchor/reporter for two Texas-market NBC affiliates and an editor for the San Antonio Express-News. Rob received a Bachelors degree in Journalism from Pepperdine University.
